Have you ever left something behind in a limo, party bus or passenger van? If so, you’re not alone! Here at Premiere Transportation, we find items left behind in our vehicles all the time. Just for fun, we’ve assembled a list of the top 3 most common things left behind in our vehicles.
Sunglasses, scarves, hats and more – people love to leave these behind! Why? We can’t say for sure. Our best guess is that people accessorize for events, then remove their accessories to be as comfortable as possible during their ride home afterwards. As a result, they accidentally leave behind some of their non-essential clothing items and accessories.
Our tip: Bring along a bag big enough to carry your accessories if you choose to remove them. This way, you’ll be able to store all of your accessories in one place and you’ll only have to keep track of one item: the bag you put them in!
Whether it’s because they prefer traveling barefoot, they are more comfortable shoeless or they’ve brought along multiple pairs, patrons tend to leave shoes behind in our vehicles quite frequently. We’re totally happy that our clients make themselves comfortable while they are traveling with us, and have no problem with them removing their shoes during the ride. However, this trend does leave us wondering what these people had on their feet when they ultimately left the vehicle.
Our tip: When arriving at your destination, check your feet before you exit the vehicle. If you have shoes on them, you’re all set! If not, you might want to take a moment to figure out exactly where your shoes are. And, if you’ve brought multiple pairs of shoes with you, consider bringing along a bag big enough to fit the extras inside.
3. Cell Phones
In this day and age, our cell phones are constantly by our sides. They help us tune in with what’s going on in the world and check out when we’re in need of a distraction. They function as telephones, computers, cameras and so much more – without them, many of us feel lost. Unfortunately, cell phones are some of the most common items left behind in our vehicles.
Our tip: Do your best to keep your phone in your pocket or purse, rather than placing it on the seat of the vehicle while you’re traveling. Phones easily fall underneath seats or disappear between seat cushions, making them hard to track down when you’ve arrived at your destination.
